Unfortunately we won’t be seeing superbly busty Jessica Simpson in a horror movie (in which she would be acting her way through a rain storm while fidgeting with a white spaghetti string top), but as a consolation prize, we do get her sister in a horror film called GRINDER. Alongside Simpson, Lacey Chabert has been cast in the film as well.
The film follows a group of college kids as they travel through the western part of North Carolina. Of course their car breaks down and the group of kids are forced to stay in a town called Chapman, where they seek refuge in a small motel. Slowly but surely members of the group start disappearing, leaving the survivors wondering how to stay alive.
GRINDER’s writer and director Richard Clark Jr. had this to say on the castings: “Grinder will be a great film regardless of who we have in it, because it stays true to the horror genre. Grinder is a character driven story, so the more talented people we have on board, the better. I was very excited when I heard about who was interested in the film. These names assure me that more people will get a chance to see my vision. I feel very honored that they are interested in my project. Honestly, not to sound too much like a kid in the candy store, but I am a big fan of all of these actors and it will be a blast to work with them.”
