Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 comes to Blu with a Ricky action figure

Last Christmas, Scream Factory brought the slasher classic SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT to Blu-ray in a collector's edition release that included an exclusive 8" NECA action figure of the Santa Claus costume wearing killer Billy. Christmas is quickly approaching again, so what is the perfect way to follow up that release? Scream Factory figured it out: they're giving SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT PART 2 a special Blu-ray release that includes an 8" NECA action figure of Billy's brother Ricky, who takes over the killer duties in the sequel.

Although Ricky does end up putting on a Santa costume and wielding an axe like his brother did, his most iconic moment in PART 2 involves him carrying a gun and wearing regular clothes while delivering the line "Garbage day!" Fittingly, the action figure includes the gun and the "Garbage day!" expression while dressing Ricky in the Santa costume, so you get the best of both worlds.

Scheduled for a December 11 release in the U.S. and Canada, Scream Factory's SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT PART 2 Blu-ray will be

a “Collector’s Edition” that will come with a slipcover (guaranteed for three months after its original release date).

– The newly-commissioned artwork comes to us from artist Joel Robinson (who also created last year’s pitch-perfect Silent Night Deadly Night for us). This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will showcase the iconic original theatrical poster art design.
