The 2006 horror hit SILENT HILL starring Radha Mitchell and based off the popular game with the same name is coming to Blu-ray this Summer from Scream Factory in an all-new Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release! Extras will be confirmed on a later date but we can confirm today this will be a 2-disc set and fully-loaded with extras. Scream Factory is working closely with director Christophe Gans to bring some cool shite our way.
Here are the further early details we have at the present time. The release will come with a slipcover guaranteed for three months after its original release date with newly-commissioned artwork (pictured below) that comes to us from Devon Whitehead. The new artwork will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will feature alternate theatrical artwork aka the woman walking towards the town’s sign in the fog.

Unable to accept the fact that her daughter is dying, Rose (Radha Mitchell) decides to take the girl to a faith healer. On the way, the pair drive through a portal, in reality, leading to an eerie town called Silent Hill. The town is surrounded by a potent darkness, and the human survivors fight a losing battle against it.
SILENT HILL (2006) was directed by Christophe Gans from a screenplay written by Roger Avary, Gans, and Nicolas Boukhrief based on the game of the same name by Konami. Samuel Hadida and Don Carmody produced and the film starred Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, Laurie Holden, Deborah Kara Unger, Kim Coates, Tanya Allen, Alice Krige, and Jodelle Ferland. SILENT HILL hits Collector's Edition Blu-ray via Scream Factory on July 9th.
