SHIT!! If you’ve got a cool collection of DVDs, movie posters, toys, comic books, figurines, an awesome home theater set-up that you just have to share with the rest of the world of movie nerds who reside on this very site, this column is for you! Just read the requirements below and drop us a line at [email protected] with pics, videos and commentary about your nifty stuff and your collection might be the next one up here.

REQUIREMENTS:

1) Please include any basic personal info on yourself, so others could know who the f*ck you are. Age, sex, geographical location, what you do in life, etc….

2) Take some pictures or videos of any cool shit you have in your pad, and send it along with your message to us. Make sure that every picture/video is explained and you don’t just send us a bunch of pics and say “Here’s my shit!”, cause that’s not what we’re looking for. We need some words attached to the pics, what they are, where you might’ve got it, shit like that.

3) Try and zone in on a couple of your FAVORITE AND UNIQUE ITEMS and point those out as well. If possible, let our readers know WHERE you might’ve bought them, etc…

Hi, I’m John, I come from belgium and I am 21.
I am a movie addict for a long time, and I collect cinema promotional items for 6 years.
I usually collect standees from theater or displays from dvd or video release, it’s not easy to found them in Belgium, ‘cause many cinemas get all this material to the trash bin, but if you know someone who works in the cinema, you can have some cool displays.

I got around 150 cardboard displays, they’re not all displayed, some are in boxes to be protected ( I don’t have much place to display all, lol ) I got around 900 posters from differents countries : US one sheet double sided or single sided, Belgian B posters from video store, Bus shelter posters some folded some rolled, Vinyl banners; they’re protected in plastic boxes, and they’re placed flat in thoses storings.

Some of my recent pieces are exposed like the Harry potter and the order of the phoenix standee, Constantine, I am legend, The indian in the cupboard, monster house standee,… but I have more in boxes ( Peter pan [ 2003 movie ], A.I. artificial intelligence, monster house, the chronicles of narnia teaser standee [wardrobe ], I am legend, Harry potter and the order of the phoenix, constantine, the indian in the cupboard, batman [ 1989 ], bad boys 2, swat, the lost world, vampire in brooklyn, santa clause, devil’s advocate, heat, dante’s peak, baby’s days out, black dahlia, ace venturra 2

But I have also mobiles ( jurassic park, king kong, free willy, police academy 4, men in black,… ) , giant colums ( da vinci code, constantine, polar express, peter pan, enchanted…. ) and displays from video store ( independence day, twister, jurassic park , mrs doubtfire,… ) I also have some lenticular posters, really hard to find : species 2, men in black 2, final destination 1 ( from france it’s horizontal, not vertical ) independence day, the day after tomorrow ( one sheet LT + standee LT ) the santa clause

I also got 650 dvds lol ! [ image 1 ]

Some of my posters are rolled, they come from bus shelters.
