Laura Palmer is making good on her promise to see us again in 25 years.
SlashFilm is sharing that two more original residents of "Twin Peaks" are set to return for the new Showtime series. Sheryl Lee, who played both Laura Palmer and Maddy Ferguson, was given the all-clear by writer/director David Lynch to announce that she and Dana Ashbook, who played Bobby Briggs, are both part of the cast for Twin Peaks season 3.
This exciting news follows the word that Agent Dale Cooper himself, Kyle MacLachlan, would be returning for the new season of the cult hit series.
On top of the announcement that Lee and Ashbrook would be returning, it was heavily implied that actress Sherilyn Fenn may also return as Audrey, although there hasn't been any confirmation of her involvement yet.
We've stated before that we are stoked for the return of "Twin Peaks" and having MacLachlan, Lee, and Ashbrook confirmed to return for this new season makes us even more excited to see what Lynch and Mark Frost are cooking up for fans. You can check out Lee and Ashbrook at the Twin Peaks UK Festival making the announcement that they're returning below.
