She Said trailer: Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan fight to reveal the horrible truth about Harvey Weinstein

Does anyone else feel like they need a shower or have to reevaluate their life choices after watching the new She Said trailer? The film stars Carey Mulligan (Promising Young Woman) and Zoe Kazan (The Big Sick) as New York Times reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor. They wrote the damning exposé on Harvey Weinstein, exposing the Oscar-winning producer as a serial sexual predator. Outing Weinstein as a monster in a skin suit led to the #MeToo movement, which served as a reckoning for reprehensible behavior in Hollywood and beyond.

Maria Schrader (Unorthodox) directs She Said from a screenplay by Rebecca Lenkiewicz. The movie is based on the New York Times bestseller; She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement, examining how Twohey and Kantor reported one of the most explosive stories in a generation, helping to shatter decades of silence on hidden abuses.

The She Said trailer is not for the weak of heart. Tremendously acted, the footage shows how Twohey and Kantor broke down barriers that have lasted generations and convinced women to speak their truth about atrocities committed toward them. The She Said trailer amplifies the urgency for people to speak up about harassment and the dire need for people to listen. Many suspect the film will be a heavy contender for the next Academy Awards ceremony.

She Said also stars Tom Pelphrey (MankOzark), Patricia Clarkson (The Green Mile, Shutter Island), Andre Braugher (Brooklyn Nine-NineThe Mist), and Samantha Morton (Minority ReportThe Messenger). Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner produce for Plan B Entertainment.

She Said will undoubtedly cause a stir when it arrives in theaters on November 18, 2022.
