Holy hell, talk about lost in space…
Way, way back in September of 2011, we let you know that Sharlto Copley (seen floating there to the right) was keeping with his sci-fi motif by taking part in the Jupiter-set alien flick EUROPA. Well folks, in the 14 calendar months since last reporting, the flick has not only been renamed EUROPA REPORT, we now have more cast info and a teaser trailer for the flick. Not a ton is shown, but at least it’ll be better than APOLLO 18 (granted, a mighty low bar). Scope it!
Directed by Sebastián Cordero from a screenplay by Philip Gelatt – EUROPA REPORT follows:
A group of astronauts, handpicked from around the world, which makes the arduous journey to Jupiter’s frigid, glacial moon Europa in search of extraterrestrial life. The only thing more intimidating and unpredictable than the trip itself is what the team will encounter upon arrival…
An international cast includes Michael Nyqvist, Daniel Wu, Christian Camargo, Karolina Wydra (below), Isaiah Whitlock Jr. and Anamaria Marinca.
EUROPA REPORT is still without a release date, but will surely come out sometime in 2013.
