Sharknado 3 bites down on premiere date, one ‘Hell’ of a title

Oh, hell yes! SHARKNADO 3 is coming and now we know when to expect to weather the storm, so it's time to start stocking up on chainsaws and making plans for the fun. Not only that, but we have also learned the title for the third entry in the hit SyFy movie series, and it's a hell of a catchy one.

SyFy has announced that SHARKNADO 3: OH HELL NO! will touch down on Wednesday, July 22 at 9/8c, set to debut in 86 countries in all, including the UK, Australia and across Europe, Asia and Latin America, within 24 hours of its Stateside assault. It's a global takeover!

Syfy SVP Chris Regina explains the title, sharing:

“Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! embraces the larger-than-life irreverence that has made these movies so popular and entertaining.”

Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, and Cassie Scerbo star along with Bo Derek, Ryan Newman and Jack Griffo. Additional cameo roles include Mark Cuban, Ann Coulter,  Jerry Springer, David Hasselhoff, NSYNC singer Chris Kirkpatrick and Chris Jericho.

Here's the plot:

When a mass of sharknadoes threatens Florida, chainsaw-wielding hero Fin must again risk his life to save his children on spring break. But as he fights his way south, the sharknadoes merge and grow bigger than ever before.

Mark your calendars, folks. SHARKNADO 3: OH HELL NO! arrives on July 22 on SyFy.
