Shane Black shows off the cast of The Predator

Remember a couple hours ago when I said that filming would begin on director Shane Black's PREDATOR sequel THE PREDATOR today? Well, the cast has reported to the set, and to mark the occasion Black has taken to his Twitter account again, this time to show a picture of himself with the film's stars.

Featured in their characters' costumes, some clutching weapons, are – from left to right – Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Olivia Munn, and Keegan-Michael Key.

No plot details have been revealed about THE PREDATOR, but it has been said that Holbrook, Key and Rhodes are all playing ex-Marines, Brown is a government agent, Munn is a scientist, and Tremblay is the autistic son of Holbrook's character.

Black captioned the image "Partial cast… beautiful human beings, good people. Also, killers."

While being a "partial cast" picture, it's only missing a couple actors we know of – Thomas Jane and Kyle Strauts. Strauts will be playing one of the Predators in the film, so it makes sense that Black wouldn't be showing him off just yet.

We'll get to see the pictured cast go to battle with aliens who love to hunt when THE PREDATOR is released on February 9, 2018.
