Shane Black debuts new image for The Predator of the alien in action

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

After sharing the first official trailer for THE PREDATOR, earlier this morning, Shane Black has followed up the debut with a new picture of the iconic alien in action. While the image was posted to Black’s Twitter account, the pic obviously hails from an article courtesy of Empire magazine.

You can check the post out for yourself below:

In the image, we see a Predator stripped down to nothing but his fishnets and battle-ready codpiece, open-mouthed and lifting a human character into the air. With his dreadlocks akimbo, the Predator looks to be nonplussed about being in his new surroundings, and is likely to convert the screaming soldier's spine out through his anus, before long.

Directed by Shane Black (IRON MAN 3), THE PREDATOR stars Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, and Thomas Jane.

Here’s the logline for the film:

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

THE PREDATOR will arrive to hunt in theaters on September 14th.
