Several new Avengers: Age of Ultron TV spots land; Hawkeye steals the show

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

There's a little movie called AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON coming up but you may not have heard of it as the studio has scarcely been promoting it. I mean, is it too much to ask to for a glimpse at the film before I shell out my hard-earned dollars? Yea that bits' done, move on Kevin. Several new TV spots for AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON have arrived which offer a few moments of new footage but nothing overly surprising unless you consider Hawkeye landing a joke to be surprising.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON is set to be one of the biggest films of the year but I'm already feeling a little burnt out from all the marketing they're throwing at us; I know I'll be seeing the film, but I don't really want to see anymore of it in a trailer/TV spot format. That's the nature of the beast I suppose, so long as they don't go full AMAZING SPIDER-MAN and show us half of the movie; you never go full AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, you just don't.

The official synopsis:

Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON will be here on May 1, 2015; less than a month to go!
