If there's one thing that Hollywood teaches us, it's that unemployed slobs are just a shower and a shave away from winning the hearts of someone completely out of their league. Variety reports that Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron have signed on to star in FLARSKY, a new comedy from Jonathan Levine.
Seth Rogen will play "an unemployed journalist, battered by his own misfortune and self-destructive ways, who endeavors to pursue Theron’s character — who was his childhood crush and babysitter and now happens to be one of the most powerful and unattainable women on earth." Production is due to begin in August and the script is being written by Dan Sterling (THE INTERVIEW). This won't be the first time that Rogen will have worked with Jonathan Levine, as the actor previously appeared in Levine's 50/50 and THE NIGHT BEFORE. As for Charlize Theron, FLARSKY represents yet another project on her increasingly busy slate; Theron is set to appear in THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS on April 14, 2017 and ATOMIC BLONDE on July 28, 2017, and has TULLY, AMERICAN EXPRESS and NEED TO KNOW on the way. Phew.
