See the Seven Dwarves in action in this new Snow White and the Huntsman clip

I can honestly say I am looking forward to SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN. It looks like epic fantasy fun. Charlize Theron looks badass and I will never complain about her on the big screen.

What has been oddly lacking from the marketing for the movie so far has been Kristen Stewart speaking and the Seven Dwaves themselves. Well, they are finally providing us a glimpse at both in this new clip.

What SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN does right is what MIRROR MIRROR did so, so wrong. They cast a badass group of actors to play the dwarves. Now, I am in no way bashing the casting of real little people as they did in MIRROR MIRROR, but the characters were played like jokes. Here we have Ian McShane, Bob Hoskins, Ray Winstone, and Nick Frost as four of the seven. That is awesome casting! And from the looks of this clip, they are convincingly playing dwarves and don’t look digitally manipulated at all.

Kristen Stewart’s acting is not as awful as I anticipated from this scene. I wish she would emote a little more realistically. But, you get what you get when you cast a vampire in your movie.

SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN opens this Friday, June 1st.
