See footage from Mission: Impossible before IMAX screenings of Terminator

Alan Taylor‘s TERMINATOR: GENISYS opens nationwide on July 1st, but you’ll be able to catch screenings of the film as early as 7pm tomorrow. For those of you keen on checking out Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s return to Cyberdyne form, there is a little added incentive to see it in IMAX. A 5-minute preview of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ROGUE NATION will screen before the film, giving you the largest and longest look yet at Tom Cruise‘s latest.

Paramount Pictures states that this preview is exclusive to 363 IMAX screens across North America, so while any IMAX (or Faux-MAX) screen seem to be a safe bet, you’ll probably want to call the theater ahead of time just to confirm. It’s not known what will be shown from MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE, but I imagine an extended scene with the trailer tacked onto the end would be in order.

While I don’t think this will really add any extra incentive for audiences to see TERMINATOR, it’s a smart move to bring some more exposure to MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ROGUE NATION. The last film in the series, Brad Bird‘s GHOST PROTOCOL, was arguably the most fun and ROGUE NATION is shaping up to include some of the most insane stunts yet. Here’s hoping that Christopher McQuarrie (JACK REACHER) adds another solid entry into the eclectic MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE saga.

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ROGUE NATION will hit theaters on July 31, 2015.
