Secret Invasion: Marvel gives you access to a five minute preview of the upcoming series

The one-eyed former agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns. Later this month, Nick Fury will be fighting a war with hidden invaders on the brand new Marvel Studios mini-series Secret Invasion which is set to stream exclusively on Disney+. The series brings back Samuel L. Jackson as well as Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, Ben Mendelsohn and Martin Freeman in their respective MCU roles and adds Game of Thrones star, Emilia Clarke, to the fray. The show had been highly anticipated since it was revealed that Nick Fury was working with the Skrulls off-planet in a post-credit scene from Spider-Man: No Way Home.

If you’re too excited to wait, Marvel is letting you whet your whistle by giving you access to the first five minutes of the show. The official Twitter account of Marvel Studios posted a cryptic message that gives you the website address, theinvasionhasbegun.com along with the password, RSD3PX5N7S. If you go to the website, it’ll prompt you to enter the password. Once you do, it will grant you access to a video showing you a five minute preview of the pilot episode.

The official synopsis of the show reads,
In Marvel Studios’ new series “Secret Invasion,” set in the present day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.

Interestingly, even though both Samuel L. Jackson and Don Cheadle had been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the beginning, with 2010’s Iron Man 2 first featuring both, this will be the first time they will be interacting in the long-running chronology. Although, they did technically share a scene in Avengers: Endgame at Tony Stark’s funeral. Cheadle recently expressed his excitement to finally having his friend as a scene partner, “Day one, we sat down and were like, ‘This should have happened a long time ago, but it’s great that it’s happening now.’ Sam’s a good friend, and I’ve known him a long time. It was cool to be able to sit across from him and go back and forth.”

Secret Invasion will debut on Disney+ on June 21.
