Paramount Pictures and Bruckheimer Films have unleashed the Secret Headquarters trailer, bringing superhero shenanigans to Parmount+ on August 12. Billed as a heartwarming and action-packed summer family film, Secret Headquarters stars Owen Wilson (Loki, Midnight in Paris), Walker Scobell (The Adam Project, Percy Jackson and the Olympians), Keith L. Williams (Good Boys), Momona Tamada (The Baby-Sitters Club), Abby James Witherspoon (Hot Pursuit), Kenzie Curtis (Charm City Kings), and Michael Peña (Ant-Man, NARCOS: Mexico).
The Secret Headquarters trailer presents an all-out romp for superhero fans. The tone is family-friendly, but the action appears as over-the-top as any other superhero blockbuster, and many laugh-out-loud moments are peppered throughout the footage. I still enjoy watching kid-friendly features and love the idea of Wilson living a double life as a savior in a super suit. With plenty of talented co-stars to round out the cast, I think Secret Headquarters could be one of the summer’s best family films.
Here is the official synopsis for Secret Headquarters:
While hanging out after school, Charlie (Scobell) and his friends discover the headquarters of the world’s most powerful superhero hidden beneath his home. When villains attack, they must team up to defend the base and save the world.
