Screamfest to showcase horror flick Undocumented at Mann Theater!

If you’ve been yearning to check out UNDOCUMENTED for a while then here’s another chance! Screamfest has just announced that they will be adding UNDOCUMENTED to its lineup of films! The film will premiere this coming Thursday on October 14th at 9:30PM. The theater of choice? Grauman’s Mann Chinese 6 Theaters. Don’t have a pass to Screamfest? Get one. The clock is ticking so check out this horror/thriller that may seem pretty real to many folks out there.

The film follows a small group of documentary filmmakers chronicle the trials and inequities faced by Mexican illegal immigrants. When they join a group of families illegally crossing the border to record the experience firsthand, their truck is pulled over and detained. What happens next plunges their group into unimaginable horror.

The film stars Scott Mechiowicz, Alona Tal, Greg Serano, Kevin Weisman, and Tim Draxl. Chris Pechover directs. I don’t know about you but this is a pretty serious film. Living in Texas for most of my life, I can honestly say that this film is geographically topical. You can usually find filmmakers talk about this stuff in documentaries and one or two action flicks (MACHETE) but horror? Now that’s just absurd.

So absurd, it might just work! What kind of horror is better than the ones that exploit real life tragedy? If you’re interested then give LA a visit but if you’re like me and don’t have the funds for travel then you can wait for one of our reviews instead!
