Well it appears as though Hollywood has run so bone dry out of ideas, that the waiting period to reboot a franchise is now less than ten years. That’s how long it’s been since SCREAM 3, the last film in Wes Craven’s seminal nineties slasher trilogy. According to Entertainment Weekly, the series’ original writer Kevin Williamson is working on remaking an entirely new trilogy using many of the original cast members. Apparently he’s already approached Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette to return. Deals have yet to be signed, and no word on who else if anybody, he’s contacted, but whatever reason he may have to reboot this trilogy is beyond me. Besides, Skeet Ulrich and Neve Campbell are way too big to ever go back to the roles that made them who they are today, right?
