Scream Factory to unleash The Howling II: Your Sister is a Werewolf!

Oh boy, this is exciting news. Scream Factory, never shying away from bringing us the best-worst horror movies as well as the best-best ones, has announced they’ll be releasing THE HOWLING II: YOUR SISTER IS A WEREWOLF this summer. It’ll be the first time on Blu-ray for this terrible sequel, which is one of the most incompetent, unintentionally funny horror flicks from the 80s. Seriously, if you’ve never seen it, correct that this summer.

Starring Christopher Lee, Reb Brown and Sybil Danning, THE HOWLING II goes like this:

After newscaster Karen White’s shocking on-screen transformation and violent death (in the original The Howling), her brother Ben (Reb Brown) is approached by Stefan Crosscoe (Christopher Lee), a mysterious man who claims that Karen has, in fact, become a werewolf. But this is the least of their worries… To save mankind, Stefan and Ben must travel to Transylvania to battle and destroy Stirba (Sybil Danning), the immortal queen of all werewolves, before she is restored to her full powers!

Scream Factory hasn’t revealed a release date or official art yet, but as is always the case, they’ll keep us in the loop. Now just watch the trailer below, it gives you a pretty good idea of what this monster is all about.
