Scream Factory to release definitive Toolbox Murders 2 Blu-Ray

While the Scream Factory distribution company has made a name for themselves with their Blu-Ray releases of classic and not-so-classic retro titles, they also make a point to put out some more modern films that don't get much recognition. Their newest selection is TOOLBOX MURDERS 2, the 2013 sequel to Tobe Hooper's 2004 remake which has been shuffling around in back drawers as COFFIN BABY and TBK.

For better or for worse, the film has been floundering in anonymity, prompting Scream Factory to release the definitive edition. It stars Chauntal Lewis (SÉANCE), Brian Krause (SLEEPWALKERS), Clifton Powell (RAY), Chris Doyle (TOOLBOX MURDERS), Ethan Phillips (STAR TREK: VOYAGER), and – inexplicably – Bruce Dern (NEBRASKA):

Picking up directly after the shocking events of the previous movie, TOOLBOX MURDERS 2 ratchets up the terror as it follows one of Hollywood’s most twisted killers. Resurfacing in the darkest corners of the L.A. underworld with a serious axe to grind, the killer hammers out a plan to put the screws to a new victim!
