I'm a big fan of genre-fave Larry Fessenden and that's why I'm excited that his latest, the monstrous morality tale BENEATH, will soon be hitting Blu-ray/DVD thanks to the fine folks at Scream Factory and we've got your first look at the artwork for the March 2014 release below.
You may remember that Fessenden's BENEATH played as part of the line-up at The Stanley Film Festival earlier this year and later aired on Uni's Chiller network. Unfortunately I missed it then, but the Scream Factory will be submerging us into terror next year as BENEATH swims its way to Blu-ray and DVD on March 25 2014. The film stars Danny Zovatto, Bonnie Dennison, Chris Conroy, Jonny Orsini, Griffin Newman, and Mackenzie Rosman, and centers on…
…a group of friends celebrating their high school graduation at a remote lake location. Things take a turn for the dire when they are confronted with a horrifying deadly underwater predator who tests the bonds of their friendship as they fight for survival. The group ends up stuck in the lake in a sinking boat with no oars. Paranoia soon sets in and the friends soon begin to turn on one another.
Scream Factory unveiled the Blu-ray/DVD artwork on their Facebook page, and you can peep it below:

As reported earlier, our release for 2013's BENEATH will be surfacing on Blu-ray & DVD on March 25th. Check out the first look at the cover design, which is reversible so you can choose the one you like and want to display the most!
Directed by Larry Fessenden (The Last Winter, Wendigo), the story concerns six high school seniors who find themselves in a rowboat in the middle of a lake attacked by man-eating fish. The twist? They must decide who must be sacrificed as they fight their way back to shore.
I'm gonna definitely pick this one up to add to my Fessenden collection. How about you?
