Scream 4 to not go light on a killer story with a 140 page script!

And the SCRE4M wagon keeps on a-rolling! Kick ass Jake Dee has kept the momentum going with another scoop yesterday regarding some set photos featuring Ghostface and other various cast and crew members. I’ll tell you one thing though, I want those chairs! Just earlier that day some more (and hot) info was released over the next two added cast members who would could be slashed and gashed as celebrity cameos . If everyone is done hyperventilating over how insanely hot this film’s going to be then I’ve got some info that is most definitely NOT HOT. Depending on what you’re in to that is. If you’ve got a boner for long scripts and lots of paper then have at it.

The Hollywood Reporter just sent the word out on the script’s length: a head bashing 140 pages long! If you apply the minute per page rule then you’re looking at our SCRE4M flick to be spilling some blood past two hours. Anyone digging the press today or is putting your butt to sleep just not your thing?

It’s also reported that filming was supposed to wrap up on Labor Day but the extensive script could have something to do with the wrap up date being pushed to September 24th . Was this all part of the plan or did Craven and his crew go a little batshit crazy on the keyboard?

Even if Craven’s team decides to pull out the Machete (Didn’t mean to advertise that, sorry) for some serious film hacking, they won’t be taking too much meat off. With a story that big it has to be interesting…or just really, really drawn out. We’ll see come next April on the 15th. What say you, guys? Yay or nay on the script’s length? If the film pushes an hour and a half would you still see it? If so much was cut away would you rather wait for the unrated version on DVD? Or do you just not give a flying f*ck? Strike down below and let us know!

Since this piece of info was overmined by yesterday’s news, how about something a little longer than a 140 page script?

I’m talking about Kristen Bell.
