HALLOWEEN 2007's Scout Taylor-Compton stars in DIVERTED EDEN, a film that promises to deliver "wall-to-wall heart-pounding action" when it starts making the film festival rounds later this year.
Written and directed by Prince Bagdasarian, the crime thriller also stars Najarra Townsend of CONTRACTED and the JoBlo YouTube release WOLF MOTHER, Betty Gabriel of THE PURGE: ELECTION YEAR and GET OUT, Michael Urie, Jason Stuart, Ken Davitian, Manu Intiraymi, Daniel Josev, Michael Spady, Michael Emery, Erin O' Brien, and Mindy Robinson.
The synopsis:
After 7 year-old Eden is kidnapped during a home invasion, single father Dane Hunte takes matters into his own hands, while Detective Fini, leading the investigation, unravels the mystery surrounding the unusual crime.
That sounds intriguing to me, and judging by the trailer it does look like it will live up to the action-packed promise. There are even glimpses of types of action that I wouldn't have expected to see in a movie like this.
