Sam Raimi never seems to take a break these days, and now he apparently has two potential projects on the horizon. Latino Review is reporting that both of the projects are in the Sci-Fi genre, which sounds good to me. After the last SPIDERMAN, I’ll take anything else from Raimi.
The first film is an adaptation of Whitley Streibler’s THE GRAYS, which focuses in on a “universal” United Nations that keeps itself unknown on Earth. Sounds interesting, right?
The second project that is awaiting Raimi’s watchful eye is a film presently titled NO MAN’S LAND, and the film is being described by producers as being a combination of WAR OF THE WORLDS and CHINATOWN. That sounds like a bit of a stretch…or at the very least a little incoherent, but I’m sure if the film is under Raimi’s watch, it will turn out fine.
But before any of you start changing your underwear because of this news keep in mind that these are just potential projects for Mr. Raimi, so hang in there until the word becomes official!
My next project…
