We had been promised that the trailer for TERMINATOR: DARK FATE would be released online today, and now the trailer can be seen below!

Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and franchise creator James Cameron have all returned to the world of THE TERMINATOR for this sequel, a film that ignores the events of the TERMINATOR films Cameron wasn't involved with. That means only THE TERMINATOR and TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY count this time around.

Cameron produced TERMINATOR: DARK FATE with David Ellison and also crafted the story with Charles Eglee, Josh Friedman, David S. Goyer, and Justin Rhodes. Goyer and Rhodes then fleshed the story out into a screenplay, with an assist from Billy Ray.

Directed by DEADPOOL's Tim Miller, the film stars Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, Arnold Schwarzenegger as a bearded T-800, Natalia Reyes as heroine Dani, Diego Boneta as Dani's brother, Gabriel Luna as a Terminator, and Mackenzie Davis as "soldier-assassin from the future" Grace. Brett Azar and Jude Collie were also the CGI stand-ins for a younger Schwarzenegger and Edward Furlong, respectively, for the filming of scenes that take place during the time of T2.

I wasn't a fan of the TERMINATOR films that have been made since Cameron left the series, so I'm hoping this film will be a return to form, as Hamilton has said it will be. However it turns out, it definitely looks like it's going to have some spectacular action for us to marvel at.

TERMINATOR: DARK FATE is scheduled to reach theatres on November 1st.
