UK sales outfit SC Films has boarded international sales rights to Josh Crook's US horror-comedy DEMON HOLE, reports Screen Daily.
I have to admit that I giggled when I was trying to research more info on this one as the first result to come up in Google was an entry in Urban Dictionary that defines a 'demon hole' completely differently than what Crook's film has in mind…at least I hope so. According to Screen Daily DEMON HOLE charts…
…the fallout after a fracking crew drills a hole on sacred Native American land unleashing an ancient demon, which then terrorizes six teens serving community service in a remote forest.
You can go to Urban Dictionary to find out what they define a 'demon hole' as. I'm pretty certain it has nothing to do with this flick, but dammit, it's funny.
The film is produced by Lori Crook and exec producer is Allen Bain, and stars Samantha Scaffidi, Austin Ramsey, Paris Campbell, Summer Bills and Adrian Denzel.
