Satanic Panic pics

I can remember being in grade school and my
parents discussing a ‘satanic murder’ that had supposedly taken place just
across the Detroit river, not far from where we lived. I also remember being
terrified at the thought of a satanic cult stalking through the streets looking
for victims to sacrifice to Satan. Than I got older, realized what a pile of
crap the whole idea was of a ‘killer satanic cult’ going around slaughtering
people to sacrifice to the dark lord, and moved on. However, this doesn’t mean
the concept of a satanic cult gone bad doesn’t make for a great horror film;
evidence of which can be seen in the latest bunch of images from SATANIC
PANIC
.

If you bounce on over to

Fangoria
you can check out a slew of stills
from the film, which is being helmed by indy director
Marc Selz. A long time in the making,
SATANIC PANIC
is a fictional story based on witness
accounts that were inspired by the hysteria of satanic ritual abuse which took
place during the late ’70s and ’80s.

I’ve seen countless ‘B’ films from those decades
with the backdrop containing some sort of ‘satanic cult reference’ and while the
films are never amazing, they’re generally entertaining. That being said I’m
guessing that SATANIC PANIC will be no different. So make sure to check
out the latest pics from SATANIC PANIC over at

Fangoria
, as well
as the
official
site
for more info on the film.
