Writer/director Nathan Catucci recently wrapped production on his first feature film, a psychological thriller called IMPOSSIBLE MONSTERS.
Santino Fontana, probably best known for voicing the character Hans in Disney's FROZEN, stars as
Dr. Rich Freeman, who conducts an intense sleep study that could result in a lucrative grant. But when one of the participants is found dead, homicide detectives begin investigating and the professor makes a frightening discovery.
Fontana's co-stars include Natalie Knepp, Devika Bhise, Laila Robins, Geoffrey Owens, Dennis Boutsikaris, and Dónall Ó Héalai.
Shot in New York and New Jersey, IMPOSSIBLE MONSTERS was produced by Catucci, Jonathan Burkhart, and Dorottya Mathe. The film delves into its characters' dreams while telling what Catucci describes as "a carefully crafted story wrapped in a cloud of fantasy". The filmmaker also says his movie "explores how quickly aspiration and ambition, gone unchecked, can spiral out of control."
