San Francisco ruins pizza in a new clip from Pixar’s Inside Out

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Normally when a Pixar film is announced it's an exciting event, but for whatever reason I couldn't get all that into INSIDE OUT. As time went on and we got a chance to see some footage from the film I realized that my doubts had stemmed from not quite understanding just how Pixar would handle the premise; now that I have a better idea of what INSIDE OUT is all about, I'm officially on board.

Disney and Pixar have released a new clip from INSIDE OUT which doesn't paint a great picture of San Francisco's pizza crafting abilities. Check it out.

INSIDE OUT follows Riley, an 11-year-old girl who find her world turning upside-down when she and her parents move to San Francisco. Helping her navigate through this event are her emotions, which are embodied by Amy Poehler as Joy, Mindy Kaling as Disgust, Bill Hader as Fear, Lewis Black as Anger, and Phyllis Smith as Sadness. I'm happy to see that despite the initial hesitation, the early buzz for INSIDE OUT is very promising; our own Paul Shirely called INSIDE OUT "one of Pixar's finest works" in his review of the film.

INSIDE OUT opens on June 19, 2015.
