Ryan Murphy teases Twisty the Clown’s return to AHS

I'm not the world's biggest AMERICAN HORROR STORY fan. I loved Murder House, couldn't get into Asylum (I know, I know), thought Coven was good times, loved Freakshow, and couldn't make it through Hotel or Roanoke. That's where I stand.

But like I said, I really dug the fourth season, Freakshow. And one of the coolest aspects of that season was John Carroll Lynch as Twisty the Clown. The dude was super freaky (natch) and SPOILERS the fact that he checked out so early was a bummer.

But today we have news from Mr. Murphy himself that Twisty the Clown will have a (slight) return to the series, in what – at the moment at least – amounts to basically just an easter egg… But an easter egg that would horrify Gacy so fair enough.

Murphy posted the above pic on his Instagram recently and as you can see there is a Twisty the Clown comic book in the world of AHS: ELECTION. Which is pretty damn cool. I'd buy that for a dollar.

Speaking of comic book and AHS, we'll call this a double-post as I also wanted to share with you guys artist J.Q. Hammer's EC-inspired AHS comic covers that are a f*cking de-light!

You can check out the four covers below, and then make sure to let us know what you think of the comic covers and Twisty the Clown on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

AHS: ELECTION hits FX later this year!
