Ron Howard drops another teasing photo from the Star Wars Han Solo spinoff

Ron Howard stepped in to complete production on the UNTITLED HAN SOLO STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY FILM after the exit of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller back in June, and it seems as though he's been having a ball finally getting to play around in the STAR WARS sandbox. Howard has also been keeping fans in the loop with frequent teases from the set, including glimpses at the Millennium Falcon, the presence of the Empire, Chewbacca, costumes, and even revealing new cast-members such as Paul Bettany. The latest tease came from Ron Howard's Twitter earlier today and features what could be some sort of mine. Perhaps…a spice mine?

Ron Howard captioned the photo, "Spicey?" which may indicate that we're in the spice mines of Kessel. If you recall, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) boasted about making the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs in STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE, so perhaps we'll actually get to see that event play out in the Han Solo spinoff. The UNTITLED HAN SOLO STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY FILM stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as Beckett, and Emilia Clarke as a character rumoured to be called Kira.

The UNTITLED HAN SOLO STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY FILM is still set for a May 25, 2018 release.
