I hope you're ready to see what David O. Russell (AMERICAN HUSTLE) can do on the small-screen, because it seems that we're quite close to finding out. Deadline reports that Russell is putting together a TV package which seems to be getting everyone quite exited, despite knowing next to nothing about what it could be.

What we do know about the potential drama series is that both Robert De Niro and Julianne Moore are attached to star and that it may be a crime/thriller set in the 1990's. At the moment it's not known if this is designed to be a limited or regular series, but Deadline hears that they're looking at multiple seasons. They're also hearing that Russell's representatives are already approaching various cable networks and streaming services asking for a rather large financial commitment, even without a formal pitch from David O. Russell. With plenty of big-screen talent making the transition to television over the past few years, we've been gifted with quite a few television series that, even just a decade ago, we never could of dreamed of. Fingers crossed that this will be one of them.

Robert De Niro will next be seen in HANDS OF STONE on August 26, 2016 while Julianne Moore will be taking on the villain role in KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE on June 16, 2017.
