Netflix has just released a trailer for season 4 of Cobra Kai and it indicates that “every legacy. every rivalry. leads to this” in this epic new look at the fourth season.
Per Netflix, “Season 4 finds the Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang dojos joining forces to take down Cobra Kai at the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament… and whoever loses must hang up their gi. As Samantha and Miguel try to maintain the dojo alliance and Robby goes all in at Cobra Kai, the fate of the Valley has never been more precarious. What tricks does Kreese have up his sleeve? Can Daniel and Johnny bury their decades-long hatchet to defeat Kreese? Or will Cobra Kai become the face of karate in the valley?”
Season 4 of Cobra Kai will continue its nostalgia-inducing supremacy by going back to one of the Karate Kid sequels to bring back a fan favorite. Thomas Ian Griffith, who played Terry Silver in THE KARATE KID PART III, will be appearing in the upcoming fourth season of the popular Netflix series. This is bound to add even more layers to a series that has really proven to be a solid reexamination of the Karate Kid franchise.
Cobra Kai takes place over 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, continuing the inescapable conflict between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). The third season found everyone reeling in the aftermath of the violent high school brawl between their dojos, which has left Miguel in a precarious condition. While Daniel searches for answers in his past and Johnny seeks redemption, Kreese further manipulates his vulnerable students with his own vision of dominance. The soul of the Valley is at stake, and the fate of every student and sensei hangs in the balance. The series also stars Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, Vanessa Rubio, Peyton List, Thomas Ian Griffith, Dallas Dupree Young, Oona O’Brien, Griffin Santopietro, and Martin Kove.
