Rian Johnson’s modern-day murder mystery KNIVES OUT is shaping up to have one of the best cast ever as the who-dun-it already has Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Lakeith Stanfield, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christopher Plummer, Ana de Armas, Michael Shannon, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, and Jaeden Lieberher in the tank.
And today we have word that, while the film has already begun shooting, the movie just keeps adding more and more quality actors to the fire. Case in point, today Deadline reports that Riki Lindhome (THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT remake), Edi Patterson (VICE PRINCIPALS), and Raúl Castillo (UNSANE) have just joined the cast as well. Plot details are still under wraps on Johnson's new film, but we do know it will be
a modern-day murder mystery in the classic whodunit style
Now I don't know much if anything about this Patterson lady or this Castillo gentleman, but I do know Riki Lindhome. And I'm a fan. I've been secretly hoping since I saw the 2009 remake of Wes Craven's first film that Krug's girlfriend would be in more movies, and she's been building a solid career it seems. Welcome to the cast, Riki!
What do you think of this casting and this film altogether? Let us know below! Johnson (BRICK, LOOPER, STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI) writes and directs this murder-mystery and also produces with Ram Bergman. The film is now in production in Boston.
