Rick and Daryl are ready for their close-ups with these new promo images from The Walking Dead

We're just a little over a month away from the return of AMC's hit series "The Walking Dead" and today we have a look at two new images of Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) to share with ya.

These new images come from next weeks issue of Entertainment Weekly and features Rick in straight-up rage mode and Daryl doing what Daryl does best – looking damn cool. Ladies, I can hear you swooning.

In the highly anticipated new season, we find Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the group fostering a thriving community in the safe haven of the prison. Sadly, in this brutal world, happiness is short-lived and walkers and outside threats are no match for danger brewing inside the fences. The group’s home and new way of life will be thoroughly tested, and their struggle to survive has never been so perilous.

"The Walking Dead" returns on October 13th.
