Astron-6, the cinematic mad men behind films like FATHER’S DAY and MANBORG, are showing up to TIFF’s Midnight Madness in the coming weeks with their giallo-inspired new film THE EDITOR, from directors Adam Brooks and Matthew Kennedy. With the film’s world premiere just around the corner, UK-based artist Graham Humphreys has designed a rather insane new poster with plenty of old school flare. Take a peek at the new art below and be sure to check out the teaser trailer HERE.
The film follows…
…a one-time (and now one-handed) master film editor toiling in the cinematic sweatshops of 1970s Italy becomes the prime suspect in a series of brutal murders, in this loving tribute to/parody of the gory giallo thrillers of Mario Bava and Dario Argento.
Starring in THE EDITOR is NURSE 3D’s Paz de la Huerta, Laurence Harvey, Udo Kier, as well as directors Brooks and Kennedy.
