Resolution directors’ Spring wraps; new cast announcements

We've been keeping close tabs on Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson's upcoming SPRING ever since first hearing about it back in November when EVIL DEAD's Lou Taylor Pucci joined the cast. Moorhead and Benson are the duo behind the fantastic RESOLUTION, a film that solidified the directing tandem as ones to watch (and if you haven't peeped RESOLUTION yet, do so ASAP…I really dug it!).

Our last update on SPRING came in early December when we shared a bloody new image from the film with you, and now Twitch is reporting that Moorhead and Benson's sophomore effort has wrapped up photography with a US based shoot following their Italian segment. With the conclusion of photography comes the announcement of some additions to the cast.

Chris Palko (who is better known as rapper Cage), Jeremy Gardner (writer/director/star of indie zombie hit THE BATTERY) and Vinny Curran (RESOLUTION) have all joined the production for the US leg. No word on what roles they will be tackling yet as details on SPRING have been rather scarce. All we know right now is that SPRING…

…follows a young man in a personal tailspin as he flees California to the Italian coast, where he meets a woman carrying a dark secret.

We can't wait to hear more on SPRING so hopefully the wait will not be too long. More as we hear it!
