Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City filming reshoots, according to star

On a recent Twitch stream, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City star Robbie Amell – who's playing Chris Redfield in the upcoming feature film reboot of the classic video game horror franchise – said that the film is currently doing reshoots, stating:

I'm actually back in Toronto for Resident Evil reshoots," Amell said while on Twitch. "So I'm back in Chris Redfield mode.

And here's the official synopsis:

Once the booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, Raccoon City is now a dying Midwestern town. The company's exodus left the city a wasteland… with great evil brewing below the surface. When that evil is unleashed, the townspeople are forever… changed… and a small group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and make it through the night.

Meanwhile, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City – directed by Johannes Roberts and starring Kaya Scodelario Robbie Amell Hannah John-Kamen Avan Jogia Tom Hopper Lily Gao Neal McDonough Donal Logue – will shamble towards theaters November 24th!
