RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER is the end of a shockingly long-lasting franchise, so it only makes sense that they want to draw out their curtain call. They have just released a teaser promoting their teaser, which is coming on August 9th. Given its teaser-ception nature, there's not much to work with here, but we do get a badass shot of Milla Jovovich rocking a motorcycle. Check it out below!

Picking up immediately after the events in “Resident Evil: Retribution,” “Final Chapter” finds humanity is on its last legs and Alice (Jovovich) must return to Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is preparing for a final strike against the survivors of the apocalypse.

In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

Written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, the film also stars Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, Fraser James, Rola, and Lee Joon-gi.

RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER invades theatres on January 17, 2017.
