While a live-action Resident Evil television series continues to move forward at Netflix, the streaming service has revealed that they have another Resident Evil show in the works, this one a CG animated series called Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. Netflix even unveiled a new trailer for the series, which can be seen embedded above.
Here's the official synopsis:
The landmark survival horror video game series Resident Evil has shipped over 110 million copies worldwide. Popular characters Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield appear in this CG serialized drama, the first in series history! Don’t miss this new epic entertainment on a scale more spectacular than ever before!
TMS Entertainment is producing the show, with Capcom's Hiroyuki Kobayashi serving as executive producer and Quebico handling the animation.
