I can’t say I’m a fan of the Resident Evil movies, but that’s only ’cause I haven’t seen much of ’em. Not a big fan of the genre. But actor Boris Kodjoe is and likes to talk about it a lot. Can’t say I’m a fan of actor Boris Kodjoe, but that’s only ’cause I don’t know who the hell he is.
Talking to the folks of Blackfilm, the actor let his gushing about RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE and his part in it slip a few casting details. First, uber-babe Ali Larter is officially back playing her character from EXTINCTION; she was apparently only rumored to return until now. Prison-breaker Wentworth Miller is also in the lot, ironically playing a guy who gets jailed away by the other survivors.
Filming is going about this fall in Toronto under helmer PWS Anderson himself back for more, with a release aimed at August 2010.
