Anyone who got to see ONCE UPON A TIME…IN HOLLYWOOD this weekend was once again reminded that star Leonardo DiCaprio can go from calm and collected to batshit crazy at the drop of a hat. We’ve seen him push the boundaries of dramatic intensity time and time again across his decades-long career, whether he’s slowly losing his mind in THE BEACH and THE AVIATOR, letting us know how painful it is to be mauled by a bear in THE REVENANT or just screaming in everyone’s face in THE DEPARTED, BLOOD DIAMOND, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, REVOLUTIONARY ROAD and seemingly everything else he’s done.

Have you lost count of every time he’s thrown inanimate objects and screamed the screams of passion? We here at JoBlo have your back with this “Leonardo DiCaprio Gets Intense” supercut, chronicling his years of pure lunacy and emotional anguish. Edited by Bob Rose, this immaculate, nigh-16-minute assembly goes as far back as DiCaprio’s fight with Robert De Niro in THIS BOY’S LIFE, all the way to his Oscar-winning work in THE REVENANT, where his penchant for intense flair is virtually the whole performance. Relive all his most harrowing work, from all the fights, screaming, throwing of objects, crying on his knees and more screaming.
As much intensity as the video offers, there is plenty more out there that DiCaprio shows off across his entire movie canon. The man has never held back across his career, and it seems that when he's not cranking the intensity to 11 he's always at least at a solid 9, which means we have a legacy of movies to look back on and wonder how the hell it took until 2016 for them to give the man a proper statue.
ONCE UPON A TIME IN…HOLLYWOOD is in theaters now.
