Now here’s something I don’t see ever day – three movies have all had their release dates adjusted… by being moved up so that they can be seen sooner, rather than being delayed.
It’s weird. Perhaps there’s something otherworldly going on here. Good thing then that I can check out B.O.O.: BUREAU OF OTHERWORLDLY OPERATIONS starring Seth Rogen over a month earlier on September 25th, 2015 rather than its original release date of November 6th, 2015.
Of course, when I go to see a movie I often like to have food with me. Good thing then that I can bring along some UNTITLED PEANUTS PROJECT starting November 6th, 2015 rather than on November 25th, 2015.
And as I’m sure you know, it always helps to have a playbook of different plans should something go wrong – sold out showing, disruptive traffic, no peanuts, what have you – so it’s a good thing then that SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK will hit five days earlier this month on November 16th rather than November 21st. Which is next week, and by all accounts the latest entry from David O. Russell is not to be missed.
What’s interesting about the move of UNTITLED PEANUTS PROJECT is that in 2015, the 25th of November would have marked the 65th Anniversary of Peanuts’ debut, as well as the 50th Anniversary of the TV special “A Charlie Brown Christmas”. Now, the only thing special about its release date is that there will be some competition to be had with Marvel’s ANT-MAN. Along those same lines, B.O.O.: BUREAU OF OTHERWORLDLY OPERATIONS currently has no competition for its release date while SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK will now open against ANNA KARENINA (in limited release), THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN (PART TWO), and PRICE CHECK.
