Red Notice is on track to be the most-watched Netflix movie of all-time

Red Notice already claimed the distinction of having Netflix’s biggest opening day for one of their original films and now it’s on track for another record. The $200 million action heist comedy, starring Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot, is on track to become the most-watched movie of all time on the platform in its first 28 days.

Red Notice has already quickly become the second most-watched film on the streamer in its first 28 days with 277.9 million hours registered. The current leader of the pack is the Sandra Bullock thriller Bird Box, which clocked 282 million hours. You can view the full list below!

The news of the numbers comes in the second week that Netflix has released its top ten most-watched film charts. The platform reports that Red Notice was the number one movie for November 15-21 with 129.1 million hours logged. To show the major gap between first and second place, the Vanessa Hudgens franchise third installment, The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star, had 24.77 million hours watched by subscribers. Per the official synopsis from Netflix, “When an Interpol-issued Red Notice — the highest level warrant to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted— goes out, the FBI’s top profiler John Hartley (Dwayne Johnson) is on the case. His global pursuit finds him smack dab in the middle of a daring heist where he’s forced to partner with the world’s greatest art thief Nolan Booth (Ryan Reynolds) in order to catch the world’s most wanted art thief, “The Bishop” (Gal Gadot). The high-flying adventure that ensues takes the trio around the world, across the dance floor, trapped in a secluded prison, into the jungle and, worst of all for them, constantly into each other’s company. The all star cast is joined by Ritu Arya and Chris Diamantopoulos.
