Yesterday, we brought you the red band trailer for the Paul Rudd/Jennifer Aniston comedy WANDERLUST and today we have some red band goodness for FRIENDS WITH KIDS, starring Adam Scott, Jennifer Westfeldt, Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph, and Chris O’Dowd.
Check out the trailer below:
Looks like a good time to me, but I fit the target audience. I’m curious if this would appeal to the younger audiences, even with an R-rating. There’s absolutely a place for all types of films, including this one, whose appeal would fall to an older demographic, just as PROJECT X was not necessarily made for me. Not that I couldn’t enjoy it, but those days are behind me. FREINDS WITH KIDS days are the future for younger audiences. Not sure if they want to be reminded of that.
Aside from taking a lead role, Jennifer Westfeldt wrote and directed the film. She made a great impression with the indie hit KISSING JESSICA STEIN back in 2001 and has since done mostly TV work, including roles on 24 and Grey’s Anatomy.
The pic boasts a great cast, especially with BRIDESMAIDS stars Wiig, Hamm, and Rudolph, as well as indie guy Edward Burns and mega hottie Megan Fox along for the ride. I like that Adam Scott is in the lead role, as he’s impressed with roles in TV shows like Parks and Recreation and movies like STEPBROTHERS. It’ll be nice to see him tackle the challenge. And check out our review from the Toronto Film Festival for more insight.
FRIENDS WITH KIDS opens on March 9, 2012.
