After watching two of science fiction's greatest titans go toe-to-claw in Warner Bros. Adam Wingard-directed GODZILLA VS. KING KONG, THE TOWN and THE PRESTIGE alumna Rebecca Hall has been set to star in NIGHT HOUSE. The project is an independent horror-thriller helmed by David Bruckner (THE SIGNAL, THE RITUAL) that hails from a scipt penned by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski.
Set to be produced by BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE executive producer David S. Goyer, NIGHT HOUSE revolves around a widow who begins to uncover her recently deceased husband’s disturbing secrets. Joining Goyer on production duties via their Phantom Four label is Keith Levine, with production set to begin in May of this year.
While she's currently filming GODZILLA VS. KING KONG, Hall is also busy prepping her directorial debut with an upcoming thriller titled PASSING. Hall wrote the script for the project herself, which is based off the novel of the same name by author Nella Larsen. PASSING stars Tessa Thompson (ANNIHILATION) and Ruth Negga (PREACHER), and tells of an unexpected reunion between two high school friends who discover that their renewed acquaintance has ignited a mutual obsession that threatens both of their carefully constructed realities.
Be sure to catch Rebecca Hall when she stars alongside Millie Bobby Brown, Eiza González, Alexander Skarsgård, Danai Gurira, Kyle Chandler, and Ziyi Zhang, among others, in GODZILLA VS. KING KONG, which is expected to smash into theaters on May 22, 2020.
