Every once in a while here at AITH, we like to take a break from all the horror news and shine a spotlight on some of the more bizarre tales of the strange and macabre happening right here in the real world.
Case in point: Alien Ranch
No that isn't a new Halloween theme salad dressing from Hidden Valley, but another name for a lovely location called The Stardust ranch. And if you're in the market for a beautiful piece of property haunted by aliens, then you've hit the jackpot.
The Ranch's current owner John Edmonds is selling the place after living there for the past 20 years, due to what he calls strange "alien encounters".
Kimberly Gero, the plucky real estate agent:
Some are very intrigued and have no issues with the history of the property. While others are absolutely scared to death about what may or may not happen to them if they should buy it.
Obviously, it is going to take a unique person who has a true curiosity and interest in the property’s history. I have no doubt that there is a buyer out there for this special place.
I'm sure there is. But maybe not after seeing this Facebook post Edmonds made back in August:
John Edmonds on Alien Ranch:
Almost immediately from the day we moved in, we began to have strange experiences.
Right… So why didn't he leave, like, the next day?
Edmonds:
I am extremely stubborn, both logically and rationally. I have a lot of money and time invested in this property, and many animals housed here.
Makes sense.
Now if all of this thus far hasn't been WTF enough for you, get ready for this sh*t. Edmonds told the Travel Channel he has sword-murdered a whopping 18 aliens.
Yeah, 18 aliens. With a samurai sword.
Bet it didn't look anything like this.
My question to Edmonds is, "Couldn't you have left like… one… alive for, you know, like, a science zoo?"
Edmonds on his battles with alien-highlanders:
If you don’t take the heads, they disappear.
Well, that settles that. I'm guessing this Edmonds cat has a whole collection of alien heads ala Predator then correct? When's he plan on selling THAT?
Alien Ranch can be purchased for $5 million.
