Rare & never before seen images from Friday the 13th Part 3

Here's a fun treat to help you celebrate this Friday the 13th. The fine folks over at Friday the 13th Franchise have released a new batch of rare and never before seen production photos from the theatrical ending of FRIDAY THE 13th PART 3 that feature the late Richard Brooker as Jason after he’s been axed in the head by Chris (Dana Kimmel), as well as images of director Steve Miner setting up the shots.

Friday the 13th Franchise friend Billy Kirkus supplied these images just in time for today (a Friday the 13th!). Kirkus was also the fella who provided the very cool images of the original ending of FRIDAY THE 13th PART 3 that we shared with you last Halloween.

Perhaps the coolest image from this new set is that of Richard Brooker sitting in a chair reading a magazine while in full Jason costume with the axe sticking out of his head. Gotta stay in character, I suppose. Check out these cool pics below and have a great Friday the 13th!
