Paz Vega joins Stallone in Rambo 5: The Last Blood

Stallone's RAMBO 5: THE LAST BLOOD has just added its first star other than Stallone in the form of actress Paz Vega. THR reports that Vega will play "Carmen Delgado, a reporter who covers the Mexican drug trade and teams up with Rambo after her younger half-sister is kidnapped."

I don't know too much about this Paz Vega actress, but she sure looks like she will fit in nicely with the likes of Julie Benz from the kick-ass fourth entry RAMBO from back in 2009. Let it be known than Benz IS IN NO WAY set to return for this new entry, I'm just saying that Vega will fill the role of John Rambo's sidekick with beauty and grace, I'm sure. Just like Julie Benz.

Vietnam vet John Rambo take on the Mexican drug cartels after the daughter of one of his friends is kidnapped.

Avi Lerner’s Millennium is behind the film, which is directed by Adrian Grunberg (GET THE GRINGO) from a screenplay by Matthew Cirulnick (PAID IN FULL). Kevin King Templeton and Les Weldon are producing, with Lerner, Trevor Short, and Boaz Davidson exec producing. The fifth installment of the RAMBO franchise has started production and is currently shooting in Bulgaria and Spain. It will be released in fall 2019.
