Ralph Fiennes to serve LEGO Batman as LEGO Alfred

Warner Bros. has found Batman his longtime butler for his solo LEGO movie.

Ralph Fiennes will voice the role of Alfred Pennyworth for LEGO BATMAN, offering his service to Master Bruce Wayne as he battles Zach Galifianakis‘ Joker and whatever other members of Gotham’s rogues gallery that director Chris McKay may be throwing at the Caped Crusader.

Coming off his latest performance as M in SPECTRE, Fiennes is no stranger to serving as the wise second fiddle to a greater hero. In addition, this isn’t his first foray into voice work, although it’s been since 2005 since he stepped into a sound booth for these distinct purposes, having lent his pipes to WALLACE & GROMIT: CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT.

I don’t know of anyone who complains when Fiennes is added to any picture, so a fine addition to what should be an interesting film, given all the Batman that seems to be going on over at Warners these days.
